Sure-footed partners, trusted working horses, and the living spirit of the open range.
The Montana horse program supports everyday ranch work, trail riding, livestock handling, and the bond between horse and rider. Every horse has a role, a temperament, and a place in ranch life.
Reliable partners for checking pastures, moving cattle, and covering the long miles of Montana country.
Steady companions for exploring wooded tracks, open meadows, and the winding routes beyond headquarters.
Daily feeding, grooming, turnout, and attentive care help keep the herd ready for the work ahead.
Good horsemanship begins with patience, consistent care, safe handling, and respect for each horse’s individual needs. The work is built on trust, not force.
